Dr. Lakhiani is amazing! I was diagnosed with Pudendal Neuralgia and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome in 2018. I suffered from extreme pain since 2018 that required several pelvic floor pain injections under general anesthesia and pudendal nerve block injections for many years. This pain condition had major adverse effects on my quality of life. I was extremely fortunate to find Dr. Lakhiani. He is a talented surgeon who is very caring, compassionate and professional. Dr. Lakhiani and his team were excellent. After surgery, I learned I had a severe case of pudendal neuralgia. Post procedure, I am no longer in pain and do not require any pain medication or medical intervention. I'm very thankful for Dr. Lakhiani's help in resolving my condition. Dr. Lakhiani's team at the Institute for Advanced Reconstruction and the medical team and nurses at Hackensack Meridian Medical Center were all excellent!

I suffered with groin nerve pain for over 4 years before I found Doctor Lakhiani on the internet. He operated on the right side Pudendal nerve and 2 months later did the left side. I have gotten about 80% pain relief so far and I am confident it will continue to heal and feel better. After 8 doctors couldn't figure out why I was having pain, I followed the recommendations and sought out a nerve doctor hoping for an answer. Dr. Lakhiani was able to diagnose the source of the pain in one visit. Turns out that it was torn nerves from my prior c-section surgeries that was causing me significant pain for two years. It required micro neurosurgery, and I worked with his office to schedule right away. The office is run very well. I never waited in the waiting room for more than five minutes, and the procedure was carefully explained so that I understood the complete process. Follow up after surgery was fantastic, and we were able to reach help immediately if any issues arose. Six weeks after surgery I am finally pain free for the first time in two years.

Dr Lakhiani is without question the best peripheral nerve surgeon you can find. He is honest, caring, and generally very concerned about your pain. I had seen other plastic surgeons, peripheral nerve surgeons and top neuro surgeons, both in Pennsylvania and in numerous states. He operated on my cluneal nerve(s) and took away my pain. I have cried for nearly a decade trying to find someone to help me. Thank God for Dr Lakhiani. Note: my pain started as a result of back fusions, whereby doctors cut into my iliac crest and damaged my cluneal nerve(s).

Hi my name is Lauren Fetkovich and I was a patient of Dr. Lakhiani for my pudendal neuralgia. I got back-to-back UTIs and the actual infection went away but the pain of the UTI did not. I wasn't able to do normal things like sit or go to the bathroom without being in excruciating pain. I went to two different gyn's, two different urologists and a Euro gynecologist and it was miserable. I took it upon my own hands to start doing some research online by myself just with the symptoms. I started thinking it could be pudendal neuralgia. I started Googling pudendal neuralgia doctors near me and when your facility came up I looked at it and I thought, oh it's far away, but at this point I was so desperate that I told my parents that I would travel anywhere. So I called, we saw Dr. Lakhiani, and then he did a physical examination on me, feeling around where the nerve was, and when he physically felt and pushed on the part of the nerve that I said was hurting, I almost shot to the ceiling because it was exactly where the pain was coming from. I wasn't sure about surgery — I knew I wanted this to get fixed but surgery was one of the last resorts — and he assured me that it was a safe option. So the day of, I went to the hospital, got checked in, got talked to by the nurses, I saw Dr. Lakhiani and he made me feel at peace and calm before I actually went into the surgery. Everything was very successful — he said he got all the scar tissue out. The recovery — I took the week off work — but it was a very easy transition from the surgery to normal life. I almost thought something was wrong because I felt so good so quickly. I would say: please have faith that this doesn't have to be the rest of your life. Hey, my name is Luke Cutson. I'm a patient of Dr. Shah and Dr. Lakhiani. Basically I was feeling fatigued throughout my legs, throughout my arms, all over the place, and I had tingling, numbness, sharp pain at different times and experienced that for probably around three or four years. I'd seen a bunch of different doctors all over America — went to Las Vegas, went to St. Louis, South Florida, all over the place — and none of those really felt confident. But I kept looking, and my mom and dad actually found Dr. Lakhiani on the internet. I knew right then and there after talking with Dr. Lakhiani and seeing the way he cared, and he just didn't want to jump into surgery — he wanted to talk about it, he wanted to do shots and different things like that to make sure we were doing the right nerve — I knew right then and there that he was the best and he was the real deal. He did all three of those nerves and the pudendal, and he is actually amazing. He had his camera, he had his electrical unit — he took pictures of all the scar tissue. Thick scar tissue all over my nerve, and it was discolored. After he took the scar tissue off, he hooked me back up to the unit and my nerves started reading normal like they should. I kind of got my way of life back. I couldn't work out, I couldn't go with friends. Now I'm off my six-week mark for my last surgery and I'm just doing normal things and it's feeling great. 6 months ago, I was lying in a hospital bed after pudendal nerve decompression surgery. Yesterday, I ran my first half marathon post surgery thanks to my incredible surgeon @chrislakhianimd. This journey has tested me in ways most people will never understand — but every mile today was a celebration of healing, grit, and reclaiming my body. The last 5 years has been brutal to say the least but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Everyday is a rollercoaster with this condition and for anyone going through chronic pain or nerve issues: you are not alone, and you are stronger than you know. Always fight for yourself and listen to your body.
